The 200th issue of Computer Arts is out now! I’m very proud to be bringing you this landmark issue – it’s not often we go all celebratory here, but we couldn’t resist it, just this once. Maybe when we hit 300 we’ll do it again.
So what have we done? Well, we’ve compiled 200 of what we think are the greatest design moments ever in our 17 year lifetime. A lot has changed since we launched in 1995 – including us as a magazine. I hope you have as much fun reading it as we did putting it together. Remember, where there’s a ‘W’ icon, there’s a related interview or feature on our site. Get lost in it and let me know what you think.
You may have noticed the special finishes on our cover. Our designer Becca Allen built a custom typeface for the occasion (which you can download for free) before Celloglas applied a black and gold foil, and emboss. We’re really proud of the result – you just can’t beat the tactility of print sometimes. Anyhow, we’re off to celebrate some more. Enjoy the issue.
